Borrowing from one of my favorite lines in The Simpsons about Boo-urns, this morning's temperatures were rather chilly and probably had you saying brrrrrrrrr on the way to the car or on the way to the office. The morning low of 16 in Philadelphia, while not the coldest of the winter, is ten degrees below where it should be at this time of the year. Lows were colder to the north, with 3 in Mount Pocono, 6 in Scranton, and 8 in Allentown. Around the suburbs, lows were generally in the 10-15 range...among one of the colder mornings we've had this winter.
This cold push will continue for a couple of additional mornings before we begin to see a transition to a milder regime. Heck, we could hit 50 by Monday!
