Coatings and Dustings

Flurries made it as far north as Philadelphia last night, with a band of steadier light snow across South Jersey and Delaware dropping a fresh coating to an inch of snow across the southern portions of the area last night. Radar on the left shows precipitation from near the "height" of the event overnight, with steadier light snow from Atlantic City to Dover on south, with flurries falling to the north of that line.   Not a big deal, but a little more north push than anticipated from last night's event.

Today will feature a gradual increase in sunshine but it will end up being the coldest of the upcoming stretch as highs today will struggle to reach 30 in the city today.   With northwest winds at 10-15 mph the wind chill will likely be closer to 20 throughout the afternoon.

Warmth will gradually return but today is the trough of the cold wave but we nudge warmer.
