One more cold day...for a while. Tonight and tomorrow are the last of the chilly days before we start to moderate...slowly...out of the freezer and into the fridge. We're not going into shorts weather for a while but we're nudging a bit milder this weekend as high pressure builds to our south and less chilly breezes push in.
Tonight: Expect mostly clear skies overnight on a cold night in the Delaware Valley -- lows will range from 8 to 16 across the region with light winds.
Friday: Mostly sunny skies (some passing mid and high clouds in the afternoon may prevent full sunshine) and a touch less cold. Expect highs in generally in the mid 30's through the region with southwest breezes at 10-15 mph in the afternoon.
Weekend Sneak Peek: The theme this weekend will be breezy...milder breezes though! Expect a moderating trend in temperatures as we get into the 40's on Saturday and make a run towards 50 on Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds both days. Southwest breezes will push milder weather our way and get us out of the freezer that we've been in the past couple of days. The mild push, which we'll talk about a bit more in detail later on this evening, will continue into next week and really take hold midweek. Our midweek temperature for next week could be underdone...
