First, a reflectivity and velocity image from the storm that prompted the tornado warning in NE Davidson and Guilford counties. This is a 'comma head' signature....often times associated with brief tornadoes.

And here is an image as the storms were blowing into Cabarrus county....a wind gust of over 90mph was reported with this storm.
