April 15th, 2011 Forecast

Today and tomorrow will be "nice"r days than what we dealt with earlier this week and what we're going to deal with on Saturday (more rain), with tomorrow serving as a bit of a transition between today's mild sunshine and Saturday's rainfall.   High pressure over Canada will work into Northern New England and funnel a northeast wind off the Atlantic late tonight and into tomorrow.  Those breezes will help knock a few degrees off of the forecasted highs for Friday.

In addition, increasing clouds from the west with Saturday's storm system will also help in cooling things off a touch.  Morning sunshine on Friday will give way to increasing clouds from midday on, with a gray overcast in store by Friday evening.  Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid 40's with partly cloudy (mostly high clouds) skies and highs on Friday should get to about 60 from I-95 on west but only get to the 50's at the Shore thanks to the onshore flow.

Weekend Sneak Peek:   Half bad, half not so bad...breezy all the way around.   Rain on Saturday will start towards midday, continue through the afternoon and evening, and could be heavy later in the day.  A cool Saturday (40's, low 50's for much of the day) will moderate to a warmer Sunday as west breezes and sunshine help boost temperatures into the mid and upper 60's.
