April 21st, 2011 Forecast

The yo-yo of inevitable spring weather continues after today's few hour warmup.   A cool front will cross the region over the next few hours and guess what...temperatures cool back down tomorrow.   The delayed Spring that seemingly can't fully arrive continues its slow, agonizing march.  At least tomorrow, despite a stiff breeze from the west and northwest at 15-25 mph, will not be a bad day as temperatures will climb into the 60-66 range throughout the region with mainly sunny skies.    Temperatures tomorrow morning start out in the 40's in the cooler suburbs, low 50's in Philadelphia, with skies clearing later this evening once the front leaves the area.

The "nice" weather will last all of one day as another storm system organizes in the Midwest and marches east towards the Mid Atlantic for Friday and Saturday.   Showers will spread in on Friday afternoon and shower chances continue off and on, perhaps as long as Sunday or even Monday, as another frontal boundary stalls out over the region.   The most widespread thunder chances appear to be on Saturday with another low pressure.   We'll talk about that in more detail later on this evening.
