Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Southern Regions

A severe thunderstorm watch has been posted for the southern portions of our region where the initial area of showers and thunderstorms has lifted through. Some breaks in the clouds could cause thunderstorms to rapidly fire up in the unstable environment. The potential exists for hail, damaging wind gusts, and even an isolated spin-up. The watch has been issued for Cumberland, Cape May, and Salem Counties in New Jersey and all of Delaware. The watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
