May 10th, 2011 Forecast

The nice weather that's been around, more or less, since Thursday (other than the shower dodging on Friday evening and Saturday) continues thanks to a stuck pattern in the Atlantic.  We're the beneficiaries of this stuck pattern, just far enough west of low pressure to prevent ourselves getting influenced by bad weather and close enough to said upper level low to prevent ourselves from getting hit with thunderstorms for the next few days.   While gardens and humans will enjoy the sun over the next several days, temperatures won't move much from day-to-day.

Lows tonight will range from the 40's outside of the city to the low 50's in Philadelphia, with highs on Tuesday generally in the lower and middle 70's away from the Shore, with mid 60's at the Shore.   It will be a bit breezy in the afternoon tomorrow, generally 8-16 mph winds from the north and northeast as a bit of a pressure gradient develops between the surface low in the Atlantic and high pressure over Florida.
