With the upper air disturbance spinning up low pressure in the Atlantic, both of which are stuck in a blocking pattern, the pattern over the coming several days will be generally mundane. Monday is shaping up as a particularly nice day across the region with mostly sunny skies and generally light breezes at 5-10 mph, although some occasional breezes in the teens can't be ruled out. Temperatures tomorrow will be in the lower and middle 70's across inland areas, with lower 60's at the immediate Shore and a limited sea breeze.
Any showers that cross one's location this evening will be short duration and will die off after sunset, resulting in a few clouds lingering around overnight. Temperatures overnight tonight will drop into the 40's outside of the city, with low 50's in Philly. This will help set up a really nice Monday.
The Week Ahead: With the aforementioned low stuck out in the Western Atlantic, the pattern will generally be nice with a couple of exceptions this week. Tuesday, while pleasant, will feature a few more clouds lingering around and a chance for maybe a sprinkle or shower along the coast as the low inches a bit closer to the coastline. It then eases east enough and we return to sunshine and fair weather through Friday. Showers and storms look possible on the weekend as a low pressure center slowly moves east into the Mid Atlantic. Unfortunately, due to the stuck low in the Western Atlantic the upcoming weekend's low will move slowly, which may result in off and on storms both days.
