Severe Thunderstorm Watch out for much of the region until 11pm this evening. Fairly strong wording in the watch..... hail to 3.5" in diameter and winds in excess of 70mph possible. Have a way of hearing warnings through this evening, and keep it tuned to News 14 Carolina on television for all of the latest.
Severe storms are already developing into the NC mountains, and those will spread/ develop southeastward.
