An upper level disturbance will be dropping southeast in the wake of last night's frontal passage, agitating the atmosphere around here tomorrow with an increase of showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms. This upper level system will fire up some showers this evening, some of which will impact locations to our north before a number of them fizzle out after sunset. Skies tonight will feature a mix of clouds and stars locally, with lows in the 50's in the cooler burbs, low 60's in the city.
Tuesday features a quick increase in cloud cover during the mid morning hours, with shower chances increasing from late morning through the afternoon hours. A few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out in spots but severe weather does not look likely. Tomorrow will feature temperatures that will be a few degrees cooler than today, generally lower 70's north and mid 70's locally. Winds through tomorrow will be rather light, generally north at 5-10 mph.
We'll provide an update tomorrow morning on the shower chances for Tuesday.
