June 11th and 12th, 2011 Forecast

This weekend's weather will not be the most ideal and will feature a dodging of showers and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday.   It will not storm all weekend, all the time, but with disturbances riding east along the stalled out front this weekend the threat of thunderstorms exists over the coming weekend.   The "best" chances for thunderstorm activity reside during Saturday afternoon/evening (much of the region) and again on Sunday from midday through early evening, with shower chances lower but still there in between.   Sunday's thunderstorm activity will be in association with a cool front that will push the stalled front out to sea and push the humidity out to sea with it.

Temperatures this weekend will be summery in general.   Saturday will feature highs around 80 inland, mid 70's at the Shore as there will be more clouds and the added thunder threat around.   Sunday will warm a bit as the stalled front washes out and warmth ahead of the cool front nudges temperatures into the mid 80's inland, near 80 at the Shore.   Lows both tonight and Saturday night will be in the middle and upper 60's.

We'll update the weekend storms both on Saturday and on Sunday.
