A break in the action is expected tonight and tomorrow as a cool front slides south and we get a break between storm systems on Tuesday. Round #2 will march in for Wednesday and that could bring some additional wintry slop to northern locations...yeah, despite the calendar telling you it is Spring, nature has a way of saying "not so fast."
Tonight: A few evening showers or thundershowers can't be ruled out as the front slides through. Otherwise, expect variably cloudy skies overnight. Low temperatures overnight will range from the lower 40's in the cooler locations to the middle 40's in the city.
Tuesday: In between systems and with a cool front boundary stalling to our south, expect a dry day with a mix of sunshine and clouds. We could see more clouds south than north with the boundary to the south but clouds won't be widespread enough to drastically impact the day. Temperatures range from the mid 50's north to the upper 50's south in the calm before system #2.
We'll talk about Wednesday's system -- and the potential for snow closer to the city -- later this evening.
