March 15th, 2011 Forecast

High pressure briefly moves over the region before we see cloud cover advance thanks to a storm system that will work into the Tennessee Valley later on today.   Rain from that system will work into the region overnight tomorrow night, however; we should coax decent weather during the day tomorrow as sunshine gives way to advancing clouds.

Tonight:   Mostly clear through the region for much of the night, with cool overnight lows ranging from the 20's in the normally cooler outlying areas to the lower and middle 30's around the city.   Winds will taper off and generally be light overnight.

Tuesday:   Clouds will increase during the day but we should see at least some sunshine.  Expect highs in the lower 50's in many locations.  However, with winds nudging to the southeast and ocean temperatures in the 40's the immediate Shore may not reach 50.    Rainfall will hold off until later Tuesday night.

We'll discuss Tuesday night and early Wednesday's rainfall coming up later on this evening.
