March 12th and 13th, 2011 Forecast

A nice March weekend is in store, allowing folks to clean up and dry out after the soggy week that slapped us around between Sunday and yesterday.   Skies will feature a mix of sun and cloud cover, with temperatures that are above average by a few degrees but generally within the confines of typical weather.   A cool front will cross the region Saturday night and knock temperatures back a few notches for Sunday, however.

Tonight:   Expect mostly cloudy skies with lows in the lower and middle 30's across the region.   Winds will be light from the west (around 5-10 mph).   Skies may clear off after midnight.

Saturday/Saturday Night:   A mix of clouds and sunshine is in the forecast, with modest winds at around 10 mph.  Expect highs in the mid and upper 50's, with lows Saturday night in the 35-40 range.

Sunday:  With the cool front crossing through early Sunday, winds from the northwest at 12-20 mph will knock temperatures back a couple of notches.   Skies will again feature a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the lower and middle 50's.
