Today's been rather warm but it's not as bad as the past couple of days as humidity levels have been slapped around a bit. A secondary push of comfort is nudging south and southeast into the Delaware Valley and will bring a four day stretch of rather nice weather as high pressure sets up along and just off the New England coastline.
Tonight's weather will feature increasingly comfortable conditions with partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will drop into the 60's for many, with 50's in the Lehigh Valley later tonight. Thursday features a ton of sunshine and dew points in the comfortable 50's...perhaps even some upper 40's in the afternoon. The refreshing comfort will be great of us, the dry weather not so great for plants in some parts of the region that are still quite thirsty. High temperatures, however, will be nice no matter how you slice it as they should top out in the mid 80's inland and in the upper 70's at the Shore.
The stretch of nice weather should continue through Saturday...perhaps even Sunday. We have a shower or storm in the forecast for Sunday if return warmth/moisture around high pressure are enough to trigger one or two -- not a certainty by any stretch. 90's loom for next week for at least a couple of days, with Tuesday a potential wildcard as thunderstorms are in the forecast.
